This page is dedicated to
the latest developments in
camouflage, uniforms, field gear, and equipment.
The war on terror and subsequent deployments to the middle
east
are sparking the development of many new desert camo patterns.
Below is the new Spanish desert
pattern worn by their Marines.
Below is a swatch of the current Kuwait desert camo
uniforms.
They also have their vehicles painted in the same camo pattern.

Below is the new Czech 2 color desert camo. On first
glance, it appears
similar to the current British pattern, but is actually a totally new design.

The Polish troops are also fielding a
new desert pattern in Afghanistan.
Based on their current leaf pattern, but done in ripstop and desert colors.:

The Australian troops are wearing a
new "desert" Auscam in the
Afghanistan and Iraqi theaters.
It appear to be issued in both 4 color
and 5 color varients, and in different color schemes.
They are made of
a very soft cotton
material, and
we hear they're well liked by the troops.

The New Zealand troops
experimented with a new desert DPM in
chocolate brown on dark tan. The have since adopted the standard
British 2 color pattern, but made in their own unique styling.

We have been fielding a lot
of questions about the Zimbabwe army
wearing the "re-issue" Rhodesia pattern uniforms. The photo below
shows Zim troops with a British advisor on a recent MBATT Training
misssion. The Zim troops wear a "Fireforce" type vest made out of the
1st pattern camo and their uniforms are the "re-issue" Rhodesia
pattern.

Below are two photos of the latest US
camouflage pattern
currently being adopted Marine Corps. It appears to be a
digital pattern similar to the new issue Canadian CADPAT.
It will be issued in woodland, desert, and urban variations.
